Ron recently joined Lloyd Reeb and Doug Piper for a conversation, during which he explained the Paradox of Prosperity: the more we get, the less freedom we experience unless we are intentional.
You could have wealth, but very little real freedom. It can have a hold on you, cluttering your life with possessions and complexity. Or — with careful thought and a little courage, you can create financial freedom starting right now.
“More gives me less freedom because now I have more to manage. More takes more of my time.”
Financial independence connotes that I am my own provider – I don’t need to be dependent on anyone. I can make my own way.
Financial freedom recognizes how dependent we are on God as our provider. And with that knowledge comes the priceless joy and comfort of knowing that He will always care for us. Financial freedom is the power to make the right choices.
Together we discussed Five Foundational Questions that, if answered thoughtfully, will go a long way toward allowing you to experience financial freedom. Answering these five questions requires honesty and principle-based wisdom that is guaranteed to remain constant, relevant, and effective. During our time, Ron walked us through The Four Hs of Financial Wisdom that provide a biblical context for every financial decision.

“Be generous. Give to the poor. Get yourselves a bank that can’t go bankrupt, a bank in heaven far from bank robbers, safe from embezzlers, a bank you can bank on. It’s obvious, isn’t it? The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being.”
-Luke 12:33-34, The Message
Ron emphasized the importance of understanding and living out the implications of your unique calling.
We’re here to walk alongside you as you discern where God is calling you.
