This episode is part of our special webinar series on Using Your Platform For Good In Crisis.
Our culture is under siege. Isolation and economic collapse weigh heavily on many people around the globe as isolation leads to mental wellness challenges and the current state of the economy pushes millions into unemployment, eventually leading to financial hardship. But in the midst of crisis, there is always hope.
Halftime Alumni are uniquely equipped to respond to these converging needs in times of crisis. This timely webinar is part of a series in which we will ask fruitful questions that may help you brainstorm creative ways you can honor God and bring comfort using your platforms, influence, and resources.
Lloyd Reeb and Doug Piper recently hosted a conversation with Halftime Alumni Tana Greene, Co-Founder and CEO of MyWorkChoice, and Brad Rex, eHome Counseling Group President and CEO.
During our time together, Tana shared how being flexible and showing up as her authentic self has allowed her to engage with the current circumstances as a unique opportunity to make a difference for good. For Tana, her halftime journey wasn’t about abandoning the business expertise she had gained through years of experience helping people get jobs. Instead, Tana implemented those same skills with an outward focus to empower the working class. Today, this looks like connecting displaced hourly employees with critical supply chains that need workers.
Similarly, Brad explained how he is living out his calling to be a co-cultivator with God in repairing His creation, especially during these difficult times. Brad is on mission to be a Godly leader of competence, commitment, character, and compassion who transforms industries, companies, and people to achieve their God given potential. With a diverse career that so far has included 20 different jobs in 12 different industries over the course of 35 years, Brad encourages listeners that each experience, good or bad, plays a part in equipping us for the journey ahead. For Brad, this journey has prepared him to champion the use of technology to virtually deliver mental wellness care.

“Leaders race into the situation, not away from it. Exert your leadership, see where God is calling you to jump in and do it.”

Tana Greene is an entrepreneur who has employed thousands of temporary workers in the warehouse and supply chain arena. Since joining us on last week’s webinar, Tana asked God to help her “connect displaced workers with supply chains needing help.” The creation of a new app is just the beginning of God working through MyWorkChoice, the company she and her husband founded, to make a difference. Over the weekend, Fox Business posted an article on the newly launched app and after just 1 hour of the article posting, over 3500 people have hit the app seeking jobs.
Brad Rex led Disney’s Epcot theme park for years and became a world expert in shaping the customer experience.
